GRAB:
Samuel comes home excited to see his little girl and darling wife Haley. But Haley doesn't seem herself. What has happened? Samuel discovers the body of his lifeless daughter in the bedroom. All Haley wanted was for Lucy-Lou to stop crying. Just for a little while.
SYNOPSIS:
Samuel has had another busy day at work, and has rushed home as quickly as he could to be with his wife, Hayley and their beautiful baby, Lucy-Lou.
He finds Hayley exhausted and silent when he gets home. He offers to take care of Lucy for the night, and for Hayley to just rest. He also says he'll be taking some holidays soon to give her a proper break. But Hayley hardly hears him, and accuses him of not being there for the bad times with Lucy. Samuel comforts Hayley, and goes to get Lucy from her cot.
But Lucy isn't breathing. And Hayley incoherently explains how it happened. All she'd wanted, was for Lucy to be quiet for 5 minutes so Hayley could get some sleep. And the pillow was soft, and Lucy was quiet when the pillow was in her mouth, and sleep was so peaceful for both of them.
Samuel has to deal simultaneously with the realisation that his baby is dead, and that his wife has smothered her as a result of a complete mental breakdown.
