Vanessa's mammogram showed a lump in her breast, and she's had to come back for more tests. She and her husband, Nathan are about to find out the results.
Synopsis:
Nathan sits in the waiting area of the Breast Clinic, while his wife, Vanessa, is having test after test to see if she has breast cancer. She's had to have all 5 levels of tests today which means they have had reason to continue.
Vanessa comes to wait with him after her final round. The nurse will come for her when the results are ready. She's had quite a lot of pain and discomfort, and is filled with fear. Nathan tries to say the right things, and to reassure her that everything will be ok, but neither of them can really believe it.
As she lies on his lap, they each try to cope the best they can. When they see the nurse approaching to collect her, Nathan stands with Vanessa, and hand in hand they head off to hear the results.
