GRAB:
Jessica and Matthew meet again 10 years after their end of high school party, where he walked in on her kissing another boy even though Jessica and Matthew were in a relationship. They haven't spoken since.
SYNOPSIS:
Jessica and Matthew were in a serious relationship at the end of high school, and had planned to be together after high school. But at the end of school party, Matthew walked in on Jessica passionately kissing the high school football hero. Matthew stormed out and they haven't spoken since.
Jessica now works in a small Music Store and is just closing up for the day when Matthew walks in to buy some CD's. She's dressed in very young, alternative clothes, and he's dressed conservatively. When they realise who each other is, they fall back into familiar banter for a while, but the tension of what happened is still underneath for both of them.
Jessica tries to apologise to Matthew for what she did at the party, but his hurt is still evident. She nervously asks him if he'd like to have coffee with her sometime. He declines, saying they've obviously taken very different paths in life.
When he tries to pay for his CD's, she insists they're on the house, as a tangible apology for what she did all those years ago.
