GRAB:
Dominic was the popular football jock at high school, but when he sees Nicole several years after he mysteriously left town, she uncovers the dark secret that's sent his promising life spiralling downwards since.
SYNOPSIS:
Nicole is cleaning up the bar where she works, when she sees Dominic, the high school jock who she, and every other girl, slept with when they were all teenagers.
Dominic isn't the handsome hunk any more, and Nicole is now a struggling single mother. He says he's just in town for the night to see his parents, and that he didn't attend their friend, Shelley's 21st birthday party because he didn't get the invitation.
Nicole offers him a lift and he makes a clumsy, crass pass at her 'for old time's sake'. She pushes him off, now suspecting he came to the pub tonight to crack onto her. As she leaves, he asks her to say hello to Shelley for him. Nicole tells him she was covering for Shelley at the bar tonight ... and she realises he was here to see Shelley.
Dominic asks Nicole to pass on a letter to Shelley, and Nicole forces him to tell her what's going on. He confesses he got Shelley drunk when she was 15 and a virgin, had sex with her, after which Shelley got pregnant and had an abortion. He got thrown off the football team, lost his scholarship, left town, and has never recovered.
Nicole takes the letter to give to Shelley; Dominic apologises for his pass earlier, and walks out of their lives again.
