GRAB:
Philip is waiting to see Dr Charles when Melissa, an actress with a very important audition this afternoon, arrives and charmingly entwines him in the whirlwind that is her life.
SYNOPSIS:
Philip is sitting quietly, waiting to see Dr Charles when Melissa rushes into the waiting room, urgently needing to see Dr Charles. But she's not sick ... she's an actress.
When she can't locate Karen, the Receptionist, she regales Philip with her situation: she's going for a much sought after role in a soap opera, replacing a big start with a cocaine addiction. But she needs to talk to Dr Charles about how to act after a collision with a freight train whilst sleepwalking - which is what happens to the character she's auditioning for.
At first Philip just wants to be left alone, but bit by bit Melissa disarms him with her enthusiasm for acting and the role ... but it's when she starts to lose her confidence in her acting that he really helps her out.
