This scene provides a unique challenge for the actors. The characters never meet and they never interact. Both characters are in their own worlds, experiencing their owns thoughts and feelings while dealing with a Friday night at home - alone. The scene is inherently theatrical. The actors will need to work on tight choreography and at the same time hold clear intentions and focus within their seperate environements. As their is a lot of business the actors will need to develop strong "object integrity" with all the elements they wear, come into contact with and use. They will also both need to be very clear on who they are speaking with on their separate calls.
