CASTING OFFICE WAITING ROOM - MORNING
This is the office of "Real to Reel Casting". There is a couch against a wall, and a couple of chairs scattered around. On the wall is a sign: "WORLD BEYOND TOMORROW" CASTING SESSION IN PROCESS. PLEASE MOTIVATE SILENTLY. There is a coffee table with some forms attached to a folder, with a sign: PLEASE FILL IN A FORM WHILE YOU WAIT.

JACKSON is already filling in a form.

JACKSON: Name ... Jackson Garrett.

SEAN arrives at the door and looks around anxiously. He sees JACKSON and registers his dislike for him. But there's just the two of them here so he feels he has to greet him.

SEAN: Hey.

JACKSON looks over reluctantly. Registers SEAN and it's obvious the dislike is mutual. JACKSON doesn't answer, and returns to filling out his form.

SEAN: Right.

SEAN sees the sign, and picks up a form and starts to fill it in.

SEAN: Name ... Sean Davis. (pretends to write this too) you lucky bastards.

SEAN laughs. JACKSON rolls his eyes.

SEAN: Well, I don't usually audition for soap operas.

JACKSON ignores him.

SEAN: Do you know if they're running late?

JACKSON: Ah - yeah they are ...

SEAN: (annoyed) Great. It's just that I have four auditions today, and I don't want to be late for my next one.

He's baiting JACKSON who doesn't respond.

SEAN: It's for a role in the new Mel Rosenberg film.

JACKSON: (not biting) I would be happy to tell them you had to leave.

SEAN: I'm sure you would.

JACKSON: Well, we have to help our fellow thespians where we can.

SEAN: I'll give it 10 mins.
